How to install IPTV on smart TV, Fire TV and Apple TV

Samsung and LG smart TV, Android TV, Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, iPhone, PC, Mac or MAG box: set up your IPTV subscription in under 10 minutes.

Before you start

After ordering, you receive your login in one of two formats:

Xtream Codes: a server URL, username and password. We recommend this method because the EPG and VOD load automatically.
M3U link: a single playlist address to paste into the app. See our M3U playlist guide.

For MAG and Formuler boxes we need the device's MAC address, which you'll find on its label or in the settings.

Install IPTV on a Samsung or LG smart TV

Open your TV's app store (Samsung Apps / LG Content Store).
Search for an IPTV player app such as IPTV Smarters Pro, Smart IPTV or SS IPTV, depending on your model.
Install and open it. Choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" and enter your details, or paste your M3U link.
Wait for the channels and TV guide to load. That's it.

Install IPTV on Android TV, Google TV and Android boxes

Open the Google Play Store.
Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro.
Add an "Xtream Codes" playlist and enter the server URL, username and password.
Enable automatic EPG updates in the settings.

Install IPTV on an Amazon Fire TV Stick

Go to Settings › My Fire TV › Developer options and allow apps from unknown sources for the Downloader app.
Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore.
In Downloader, enter the code or link for the player app that our support sends you, then install it.
Open the app and sign in with your Xtream Codes details.

Install IPTV on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad

From the App Store, install an IPTV player app such as IPTV Smarters Player Lite, GSE Smart IPTV or iPlayTV.
Add an Xtream Codes account or an M3U playlist with your details.
On iPhone and iPad you can also send the picture to your TV with AirPlay.

Watch IPTV on Windows PC and Mac

VLC (free): Media › Open Network Stream, then paste your M3U link. It's simple, but there's no TV guide.
IPTV Smarters (desktop): the same interface as on TV, with EPG and favourites.

MAG, Formuler boxes and Enigma2 receivers

MAG / Formuler (MyTVOnline): send us the MAC address. We'll reply with the portal URL to enter under Settings › Servers › Portals. Then restart the box.

Enigma2 (Dreambox, Vu+): our support provides a command or bouquet file that adds the channels to your list.

Common issues and fixes

Issue	Fix
Picture stutters or drops	Use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, restart the router and test your speed (10 Mbit/s minimum for HD).
"Login failed"	Check the URL (including http:// and port), then the capitalisation of your username and password.
No TV guide	Update the EPG in the app or add the EPG URL.
Channel won't start	Switch channel and back, or reload the playlist.

What is the best IPTV app?

On Android TV and Fire TV, TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro are the most popular. On Apple TV and iPhone, try IPTV Smarters Player Lite or GSE Smart IPTV. On Samsung and LG, use a player app from your TV's app store.

What if the picture keeps buffering?

Connect via Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, restart the box and router, close other bandwidth-heavy apps and check your speed. If it persists, contact our support.

The TV guide (EPG) is missing?

In your app, run "Update EPG" or "Reload playlist". With an M3U link, also add the EPG URL our support provides.
